Hello, it’s been awhile…

I haven’t been writing blog posts lately. I could blame it all on life getting busy and my book writing taking up that space, but I also thought I didn’t have much to say. What could I share that hadn’t been shared by dozens of others who put things in better terms than I ever could? But, I have some updates to share, and so here we are.

First update, what do you think of the new site? Pretty slick, huh? My previous site had a very early 2000’s vibe to it that needed to be upgraded. I like this site a lot better. I think it keeps my books better organized. So take a look around and leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Second update, I’ve been writing, quite a bit, actually, for me. I published two new Critter Catchers books this year, bringing the total to six. I’ve started the seventh book, and it’s feeling like it’ll be the last book in the series. I’ve loved telling Demetrius and Cody’s stories, but I’m going to work on some other stuff after book seven is out. That’s not to say you won’t see them at some point in the future, but I’m not planning anything right now. Other characters in other stories are tapping on the glass, and I need to open the window and let them in.

Third, I’ve started a new gay romance murder mystery trilogy… with another gay romance author! We’ve co-written the first book, and are probably a quarter or so into the second book. My co-author is the amazing and talented Deanna Wadsworth, and we’re both very excited for you to meet our two guys and the other residents of Lacetown, a small city on the shores of Lake Michigan. More about this series coming soon, so stay tuned!

What else do I have to tell you? I’m glad it’s autumn, summer was way too hot for my tastes. I’m so excited about the cooler weather I took a two hour nap this afternoon. Yeah, it’s been that kind of weekend. I’m excited about some TV shows starting up soon, namely “The Good Place,” a funny and irreverent show with the first two seasons available on Netflix. Definitely worth a look.

Think I’ll sign off now, thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the new site.

We’ll chat again soon, I promise.
